Charlotte Faircloth has co-edited a volume for Routledge ‘Parenting in Global Perspective: Negotiating Ideologies of Kinship, Self and Politics’ with Diane Hoffman (U. Virginia) and Linda Layne (RPI/National Science Foundation) which drew together papers exploring parenting within and across a range of different settings, including Brazil, Spain, Turkey and Belgium, as well as the US and UK.
Charlotte Faircloth has also co-edited a special issue of the Journal of Family Issues, with Marjorie Murray (Pontifica U. Catholica de Chile) exploring cross-cultural variations in parenting culture and the expertise culture around family life with contributions from the US, Italy, UK and Chile.
