Jessie Concannon

I’m originally from Canterbury but completed my undergraduate degree in History at the University of Winchester. I recently returned to the city and am now studying at the University of Kent for my MA in the History of Medicine and Health.

As can be guessed by my masters my interest is in the history of medicine, which in the Age of Revolution is a key element of development within the era. My interest in the project is in line with this development, as it can be applied to several areas, whether that be the military history of Waterloo or social history regarding reforms and welfare. My aim is to represent the field of the history of medicine in this project and help inform people of its wider significance to all areas of study.
