The University’s ‘In Conversation’ discussion events continues with Lemn Sissay OBE.

About Lemn Sissay OBE
Lemn is an author of a series of books of poetry alongside articles, records, broadcasts, public art, commissions, and plays. Sissay was the first poet commissioned to write for London Olympics.
As a radio broadcaster, Sissay makes documentaries for the BBC. He is a regular contributor on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live, which in 2008 was nominated for two Sony Awards. He also contributes to the BBC’s Book Panel.

About the ‘In Conversation’ series
Launched in 2015, each event in the series consists of an informal conversation between the University’s Chancellor and author Gavin Esler, and a leading public figure.
These events help fund the Kent Opportunity Fund – supporting a broad range of scholarships, student projects to enhance extra-curricular activities at Kent and bursaries for students working through financial hardship.
