  • The Family Support Service at HMP Rochester are looking for volunteers to help them over the summer.

This is run by Spurgeons Children’s Charity.  Spurgeons will offer ongoing support and training throughout the volunteering.  The volunteering would involve coming in one afternoon a week to play with the children or help with delivering letters to the wings, help in the snack bar etc.  This would be excellent experience for those of you who are interested in going into probation, rehabilitation, social work, health and social care, counselling etc after you finish university.
