This event was hosted by current School of Psychology students, and our guest alumni speakers work in organisations such as  NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS); Autism Partnership UK, Heidrick & Struggles; Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust and the Met Police.

Owen Traylor is a 31-year veteran of the British Foreign Service with expertise in countering terrorism, proliferation of WMD, and serious crime. He has hands-on experience of crisis management and has worked in some of the most difficult and sensitive foreign environments. Listen to his fascinating account of life as a British Diplomat and advice to anyone wanting to pursue a diplomatic career.

We have alumni speakers working in Clinical, Forensic, and Educational Psychology, as well as a Mental Health Adviser with Mind, an HR Manager at Ford Motor Company and a University of Kent TEDX speaker. You will gain first-hand information and practical advice on some of the exciting careers paths available with a Psychology degree.

Hear from a panel of Kent alumni working in multi-lateral organisations including, Gerard Huerta, Project Coordinator at NATO; Valeria Minisini, Research Advisory & Policy Assistant at Conciliation Resources (an international peace building NGO); Nayyer Nolte, Political Affairs Officer at United Nations; Kenneth White, Partner Engagement Lead at World Economic Forum; and Arrliya Sugal, Junior Project Manager at Berghof Foundation Operations.
