If you’d like to book an appointment for a careers chat, employability support is available to students via the Careers and Employability ServiceStudents can book appointments for a CV/application review, have a mock interview or receive assessment centre training advice, as well as general careers guidance. This is all bookable through Target Connect

In addition, our Employability Officer, Ngaio, is available to support students with their targeted job and work experience searches and applications. We can advise on different career paths relevant to your degree and offer practical tips for boosting your employability skills to help you get there.

Student Support

Student Support is available to assist with a wide range of support, including:

  • Pastoral support/guidance/advice – including referrals to other University support services (such as SLAS, wellbeing and Kent Union)
  • Mitigation (concessions), extensions and late submissions
  • ILP’s
  • Intermission
  • Issues preventing you from attending or engaging in classes e.g. connection/technology issues
