Assessment and ‘reasonable adjustments’: managing learning

The notion of ‘reasonable adjustments’ will be explored, and staff are encouraged to bring questions for discussion. Relevant policies and inclusive practices will be discussed, including specific ideas for enhancing teaching and assessment.
- Part 1: Designing assessment will look at principles of assessment design which will facilitate changes to accommodate reasonable adjustments. Available resources will be demonstrated.
- Part 2: Reasonable adjustments and working with ILPs will look at how ILPs function, and possible impacts on teaching and assessing students who have ILPs in place.
