Almost 100 participants from both the Coffee with Colleagues and Shadow Matching schemes came together for two networking coffee mornings in Canterbury and Medway, jointly funded by the Academic Division and Commercial Services.

Both schemes ran this year as part of the Academic Division’s Excellence Initiative, and were aimed at enhancing the partnership between professional staff in Schools and Faculties and their colleagues in Central Services.

Participants of the schemes were asked to send in selfies of their shadow visits and/or their coffee dates to be entered into a competition. The winners were announced at each event.

The next Excellence Initiative event will be a one-day conference on Thursday 12 January 2017 for all professional staff in schools and faculties. The conference theme this year is ‘Excellence and Change’.  More information will follow.
