Start your own business while studying at Kent

Students are being offered the chance to find out how they could start their own business while still in study at Kent.

The Business Start-Up Journey (BSUJ) offers practical help and support with an Entrepreneur in Residence and business mentors as well as an exciting programme of lunchtime sessions on key topics for start-ups.

There will also be the opportunity to pitch your idea to business leaders and investors as well compete for a free ticket to Europe’s largest innovation conference.

The BSUJ begins in November with two launch days (one at Medway, one at Canterbury) featuring inspirational speakers from business and former students who have already benefited from the project. There’s also a free lunch!

The programme, which is being run by the Kent Business School, has been funded by a generous donation by a friend of the university and is part of the wider ASPIRE project.
