This Welcome Week new and returning University of Kent students were asked to share their ‘selfies’ as part of the University’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
The competition was run via the University’s Instagram channel which received over 150 entries with the hashtag #HelloKent50.
All the entries were of a high standard making it difficult for representatives from the University and Kent Union to choose a winner.
After significant deliberation, Mona Mohsin a third year student from Kent Business School was chosen as the winner for her colourful photo incorporating the Kent Wheel – a 33m high ferris wheel currently on the Canterbury campus for the University’s 50th anniversary.
Mona will receive an iPad Mini for her winning entry which can be viewed on Flickr.
