Julia Sandbrand from the Centre for Journalism is delivering a research seminar titled ‘Media Coverage of Climate Change: A Global Issue in National Media’ on Wednesday 8 October at 1pm in G1-04, Gillingham Building, Medway campus.
Climate change is one of the world’s most urgent problems, but has fallen behind in the priorities of governments and media since the disappointing 2009 conference in Copenhagen.
This presentation provides preliminary results for a study on media coverage on climate change and in particular a comparison between media and government frames.
