XYZ Projection Mapped Installation

Free art installation taking place on Monday 11 May, 19.00-21.00, in the Galvanising Shop, Chatham Historic Dockyard.

XYZ is a Projection Mapped Art Installation, displaying the visual creations of Boxcat a local VJ. The projections on to large geometric sculptures display the mapping capability available and the entire environment can be controlled by the audience using a MIDI controller, essentially creating the opportunity to personalise the installation.

Creative Events: Design and Production student, Bethany Tabeart has designed this event in order to promote Boxcat and provide the opportunity to get hands on with projection mapping software.

Projection Mapping is perfect for visual bands and mobile DJs, so if this applies to you, come along and see how Boxcat can enhance your live performances!

Even if you are not into the tech side the visual impact of Boxcats designs are reason enough to come down. The event has been designed to showcase the possibilities available to many local venues, DJs, Promoters, Bars and club nights so that they can see the benefits of using visuals.

This is a good chance to come down, talk to our creative team, play with software, learn a few handy techniques, have a drink and find out what we can do for you!
