For Comic Relief this year, Nikki Ellis has been holding lunchtime crochet lessons in the School of Maths, Statistics and Actuarial Science.

Six staff have signed up for lessons as complete beginners and over three days will be making an owl mug cosy.

Nikki says: ‘It’s been a lot of fun teaching and learning a new skill. We’ve raised £90 for Comic Relief and we hope that every little bit helps. Hopefully, we will be able to do something like this again later in the year.’
