Award-winning computer scientist and passionate advocate for women in tech, Dr Sue Black OBE, will be giving a free talk in Woolf Lecture Theatre on the 22nd September to launch a new programme, developed by Kent Innovation and Enterprise, to support women.

Bridging the gap between the university and business communities in the area, The Inspire Challenge Excel programme aims to create opportunities for women in all stages of their lives and careers, from current students to established business owners.

The programme will encourage women to try something new, support them to go beyond their comfort zone, and to work together to effect change, with an exciting programme of events throughout the year.
