If you’re involved in research, we are very pleased to invite you to the launch of the Office for Scholarly Communication (OSC) on Tuesday 12 September, Gulbenkian Cinema, starting at 15:30.
This is an opportunity to find out what we will be doing, to give (honest and plentiful) feedback on researcher support at Kent, and have a glass of wine on us! To make sure we have a glass for everyone, please let us know if you are attending here:
15:30 – So, what is the Office for Scholarly Communication? A brief introduction to the history, and what we will be doing.
16:00 – Wine (and nibbles) reception and feedback. A chance for you to highlight the strengths, challenges and opportunities of the current research support experience at Kent and to meet some of the members of professional services who are supporting researchers.
Interested? We hope so!
If you can’t attend but would like to learn more about the OSC, please email Sarah Slowe, Head of Scholarly Communication: S.E.Slowe@kent.ac.uk
