Quentin Peel will speak as part of the School of Politics and International Relations’ continuing Public Speaker Programme this Wednesday 26 November.
Quentin Peel’s talk on ‘A Tale of Two Germanies (and what that means for the rest of Europe)’ takes place in Grimond Lecture 3 at 5pm, followed by a Drinks Reception in the Aphra Foyer.
Quentin Peel is currently Mercator Senior Fellow at Chatham House, the Royal Institute for International Affairs. He is also a regular commentator for the Financial Times, where he previously held several roles including Associate Editor, and International Affairs Editor. His final posting at the FT was as chief correspondent in Germany, and bureau chief in Berlin. This talk will reflect both this posting and his wider expertise, and promises to make for a fascinating event.
