Our team is expanding and we are excited to announce that we have two full time positions available. Please read on for more details about the Travel Advisor (Sustainable Travel) position.
As Travel Adviser with responsibility for sustainable travel and external wayfinding, you will act as lead adviser in these areas. This will involve implementing actions set out in the Travel Plans and other associated policies, statements and regulations; as well as taking ownership to develop new procedures, administrate and analyse data relating to sustainable travel and external wayfinding for both Canterbury and Medway campuses.
The role forms part of the Transport Team within the University’s Estates Department. The team is the initial point of contact for all commuting, parking, traffic management and some business related travel enquiries. It is important therefore that you work closely with your colleagues to deliver a professional customer-focused service at all times. This involves responding to customers at the reception, on the telephone, in writing by email/feedback forms and by letter.
The hours of operation for the Transport Team are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays and the Christmas closure period). These times are covered by members of the team having different start times. Your hours of work will be expected to be from 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
See Travel Advisor (Sustainable Travel) for more information and how to apply.
We are also hiring a Travel Advisor (Parking Administration) who will take ownership of visitor parking operations at the University as well as supporting other Transport Team services.
We look forward to receiving your applications.
