BIS Services, a leading cognitive rehabilitation and brain injury support service, is once again excited to advertise roles for cognitive rehabilitation assistants to work with clients with TBI in the community based specifically in Kent, Medway and across the southeast. They have successfully recruited a number of candidates from various psychology courses and universities and are working with Kent University in looking for more RAs to join their growing team!
As part of our services, BIS offer Independent Living Trials where clients book a rehabilitation support package living in a specially designed house on a temporary basis with attached living quarters for rehab assistants to observe and support while the client is continually assessed to live independently. Further details can be found here - https://thebiss.co.uk/the-link/, and a full job description is attached below.
We are building a Rehabilitation Assistant Team, who would form part of a MDT and who would visit the house on a shift basis (day shift, weekends, sleep ins). The role would offer both permanent/full time hours (as we’d have multiple clients booking into the facility over the year), however part time hours, weekends and sleep ins are available too.
This role is ideal for students studying psychology or neuroscience looking for great work experience and employment, but in one steady location. BIS are looking for self starters who would be working remote on a 1 to 1 basis with the client but as part of a dedicated support team, with a preference for fully licensed drivers who own their own vehicle. Training and support from a dedicated admin team is provided, with further benefits and expenses covered.
To apply, please email recruitment@thebiss.co.uk with your CV, referencing CRALINK, and the team will be in contact about next stages.
We look forward to hearing from you!
