Rutherford College Corridors: E1N & S1S & Rooms: E1N1 & S1S1 – Essential Maintenance Works

On Monday the 19 June 2017, essential maintenance works to the electrical installations are due to take place within the below mentioned areas.
This will involve the isolation of the electrics in the whole corridor.

These works are planned to take place as follows:

E1N Corridor will have no electrical supply on Monday 19 June 08.00 – 12.00

S1S Corridor will have no electrical supply on Monday 19 June 12.00 – 16.00

Rooms: E1N1 and S1S1

The lighting will not be affected, it will only be the power to sockets in each of the rooms.

SSPR Entrance, Off Giles Lane – Tree Surgery

On Monday the 19 June 2017 from 08.00 to 16.00, Blean Tree Care will be carrying out the safe felling of an Ash Tree close to the steps, roadway and building.

There will be some footpath closures and noise disruption whilst this work is carried out.

Turing College – Construction of Various Footpaths and External Steps

From the 19 June 2017 until approximately 21st of July 2017, Emb Contractor has been appointed to undertake the above works. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately five weeks to complete (circa 21st July 2017).

There will be vehicle and plant movements throughout this period, but these works are quite straight forward and no disruption is anticipated.
