Installation of parking bays (rear of Park Wood Admin)

19 new parking bays have been installed in the area at the rear of Park Wood Admin building. The installation of these bays replaces the loss of bays that occurred as part of the Woodys development.

Student Centre (Sports Centre pink zone car park)from now until Wednesday 31 July

36 bays will be closed to assist with the building of the Student Centre (SPS and Biosciences), requested by Estates Department.

Kent and Medway Medical School crane (Sports Centre Road Closure) – Thursday 2- Friday 3 May

This is to allow site and welfare accommodation to be craned in place for the construction of the new Kent and Medway Medical School building, as requested by Estates Department.

No Access to the following car parks 8.00-16.00:

  • Sports Centre Road Pink Zone
  • Sports Centre Blue Zone
  • Sports Centre Pay & Display

Please be aware if you park in these car parks before 8.00, you will not be able to remove your vehicle until at least 16.00.

Assessment Day (Pavilion car park) – Friday 3 May

38 bays reserved to assist with Assessment Day event parking, as requested by School Engineering and Digital Arts.

Works to replace tennis centre (Pavilion car park) – Friday 3 May – Tuesday 31 December 2019

9 bays closed to assist with works to replace tennis centre, as requested by Estates Department.

Pilgrims Hospice Cycle Challenge (Pavilion car park) – Sunday 5 May

The car park will be closed to assist with Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge, as requested by Kent Sport.

Employability Points (Sports Centre P&D car park) – Tuesday 7 May – Friday 24 May

Between 2 and 8 bays will be reserved each day to assist with Employability Points’ interviews, as requested by Kent Innovation & Enterprise.

Reserved oil separator service (Giles Lane car park) – Wednesday 8 May

7 bays reserved to assist with Oil Separator Service, as requested by Estates.

Pets as Therapy (Pavilion car park) – Friday 10 May

8 bays reserved to assist with Pets as Therapy, as requested by Kent Business School.

Medway campus

There are no known car park disruptions to Medway campus for the next two weeks. Any disruptions that we are made aware of will be updated on the transport events calendar
