Emma Kember, Placements & Employability Manager, LSSJ
Emma is the Employability & Placements Manager for LSSJ. She organises many opportunities that will help you to develop your career – speakers, mock interviews, mentoring, work experience, visits and much more. You can contact Emma on lssjemployability@kent.ac.uk
Shona Murtagh, Placements Officer
Shona is based in Medway and oversees the management of Social Work placements in the Division.
Shona also provides administrative support for placement activities.

Jayne Instone, Careers Adviser, Careers and Employability Service
Jayne works in the Careers & Employability Service and is the Senior Careers Adviser for students in the Division for the study of Law, Society and Social Justice and the Division of Human and Social Sciences . Prior to working in CES Jayne was the Employability Manager in Kent Law School Kent for over 8 years and has extensive knowledge of the legal professions. Jayne works closely with Emma Kember to ensure that you are well prepared for your future careers. You are able to book careers meetings with her for any reason. Mark Bass, Careers Adviser, Careers and Employability Service
Mark Bass is a qualified careers adviser who supports students from the Division for the study of Law, Society and Social Justice and the Division of Human and Social Sciences. Mark is experienced in providing impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance empowering students and graduates to make informed decisions about their education, training and work.
