Gray’s Inn GDL Scholarships – applications open!

Are you studying a non-law degree and considering a career at the Bar?

Gray’s Inn has funding available through our GDL Scholarships for non-law students that intend to study a law conversion course in order to pursue a career at the Bar. We are currently accepting applications from students intending to take a full or part-time law conversion course from September 2021. All GDL scholars will receive a minimum of £2,500 before being invited to apply for additional mean-tested funding, as well as automatically qualifying for a Bar Course Scholarship interview. Our GDL scholarship funding ranges from £2,500 to £12,000.

To Apply

Applications are now open. The application deadline is Friday 7 May 2021. Interviews are scheduled to take place in mid-June.

Scholarship Q&A webinars

Further details about our scholarships, including our merit assessment criteria, are available on our website. We also recommend attending one of our Q&A webinars in April, which will give you the opportunity to get advice from our scholarships panel members on what makes a successful scholarship application and to hear from recent scholars about their experiences. These sessions are online and free to attend. If you would like to attend, please complete the registration form.
