The Durrell Institute for Conservation and Ecology is holding its annual reception and lecture being given by Tony Juniper, an independent sustainability and environmental advisor and Special Advisor to the Prince of Wales’s International Sustainability Unit. He will argue that healthy and functioning natural systems underpin all aspects of our welfare and the more we degrade ecosystems the more in the end we will imperil development. Ecology and economy must be fused, not only to protect nature, but the interests of people too.
