Architectural space and social action: how does the built environment relate to human society?

Kent Interdisciplinary Centre for Spatial Studies (KISS) Annual Lecture

This year’s KISS annual lecture will be given by Professor Alan Penn of the Bartlett faculty of the Built Environment at UCL. He will describe research into the way that the morphology of buildings and cities seem to relate to the function of the organisations and communities that occupy them. It will propose that the environments that people build play a critical role in social production and reproduction.
