Teach First is a national charity working to end educational inequality by placing graduates in teaching post in schools in low income areas of England and Wales.
Applications are now open for the Teach First 2017 Leadership Development Programme (LDP). This is a personalized training and work experience programme lasting a minimum of two years. Candidates who successfully complete the two year programme will have gained intensive work experience in teaching, a postgraduate diploma in teaching and learnt the skills to become inspirational teachers. The programme is also designed to develop leadership and other skills which are widely applicable in business and other careers outside teaching.
The programme requires applicants to hold or to expect to gain an upper second honours degree and to have university entry qualifications equivalent to 300UCAS tariff points plus GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in maths and English (and for primary teaching GCSE science at C).
