A fantastic (paid) Summer Intern role, which would suit an individual wanting to dip their toes into the Financial Services profession. They may be wanting a career change, or be a student in their final year at university, or have left college and wondering whether the world of finance is for them.
What is the role?
As a summer intern, you will experience first-hand the three core areas of our client service; lifestyle financial planning, wealth management and financial coaching. You will learn how we advise individuals with ranging circumstances, goals and responsibilities.
The programme starts with an induction, where you’ll learn about First Wealth, meet your fellow colleagues and speak with past successful summer interns and other members of the team. Throughout your nine-week internship, you will be involved with our day-to-day work, and also take part in a business project. This will give you the chance to complete research and suggest recommendations to support our objectives.
For the duration of the internship, you will be paired with a ‘buddy’ and a line manager, who will provide you with guidance and support.
The successful applicant will be hard-working, self-motivated and an individual with a positive approach to work and genuine interest in learning more about financial planning at First Wealth and the future opportunities that are available.
