Curator (Equipment and Uniform) – £30,200pa (Plus Benefits)
(Full-Time, Permanent, Based in London)
As part of our collections work, this role will be responsible for proactively contributing to our collections development activity. This work will continue to ensure our collections are shaped to reflect the Army’s history and on-going activity. This role will also ensure how the collections can be understood continues to be at the forefront of our thinking.
With a passion for military collections and a strong attention to detail, relevant knowledge and experience, you will be highly organised, and have an empathy with Our Army. Regular travel to our collections centre in Stevenage will be a key requirement to fulfil this role.

Working with our diverse range of art reflecting both the Army and soldiers that have served in it, this role will proactively support the development of Museum’s art collections. This will include a strong focus on sustaining and developing expert knowledge around specific parts of the collections. This will be underpinned by high quality collections activity comprising cataloguing and research, driven by an enthusiasm for our subject and the ways it can reach our audiences.
The ideal candidate will also be working across teams to directly contribute to the Museum’s outputs in exhibitions, programme, research and digital.

Exhibition Designers – £33,365pa (Plus Benefits)
(Permanent Appointments, Based in London)
We are seeking to appoint two Exhibition Designers within our small Exhibitions and Design team, to work on both the representation of our permanent galleries and our temporary exhibition programme. The post-holders will interpret the gallery and exhibition narratives to create both a 2D and 3D visual identity for exhibitions and permanent galleries, ensuring that the aims and themes of the content are reflected in the design. You will be proficient at producing drawings for tender and finished artwork for production. A large part of these roles will involve working cross culturally throughout the museum to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and with external suppliers.
Alongside the opportunity to develop a permanent gallery, the post-holders will produce two small touring designs per year, for our Regimental Museum Partners. The successful candidates will be educated to degree level and have demonstrable experience of producing high quality 2 & 3 D design. Experience of working with museum collections or in a museum environment is desirable.
