Have you ever wished that you could ask a lawyer for their opinion? This event, hosted by the Kent Law School, will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the law, its application, and what it means for wider society.
On the panel will be:
- His Honour Judge Rupert Lowe
- Courtenay Griffiths QC
- Ross Talbot, a barrister
- Joe Egan, the President of the Law Society
- Hannah Uglow, a solicitor with the Kent Law Clinic
- Geoffrey Samuel, a legal academic specialising in European and comparative law
The panel will be chaired by Kent Law School’s Professor Nick Grief, who is also a barrister.
The event will run akin to the TV show Question Time – the audience will ask topical legal questions and the panel will respond. The Q&A session will last about 75 minutes, and there will be an informal drinks reception afterwards for you to continue the debate.
This event will help anyone interested in a career in law to develop networking skills and ‘commercial awareness’ of the legal field.
