The School of History is holding an open event to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day, and we would love to see you there!

The event, ‘Women who Changed the Course of History’, will celebrate three female historical figures; Emily Wilding Davison, Mary Queen of Scots and Pocahontas, for which our historians will champion their case to determine who you think deserves the title of the most inspirational historical woman. Please find attached some further details.

The event will take place from 4.30-5.30pm next Wednesday 8th in Woolf Lecture Theatre on our Canterbury campus, is free and open to all, and will be followed by a drinks reception. There’s no need for people to book a place, however they can get in touch with me on historycomms@kent.ac.uk if they’d like some further information.

All students that attend will also receive 10 Employability Points – make sure to log this talk if you are signed up to the EP Scheme.
