Employability events – Get Into Law

These pages attempt to collate information about events (talks/lectures, workshops, open days or anything else) that are taking place both on and off campus which will allow you to develop your career understanding. Some things may even be suitable for your CV. The pages are updated as new information is received and events that are taking place shortly are also detailed in the weekly Employability Bulletin which is sent to KLS’ current students. Kent Law School’s Professional Mentoring Scheme aims to help you make career choices, understand the legal working world or navigate the application process for both work and study.

A mentor can really help you to develop your understanding of a career, assist in growing your network and give excellent tips for successful job hunting (often including CV advice, mock interviews and sometimes work experience!)
