The Telegraph today report that almost 40% of graduate jobs at top firms will be taken by those whom have already interned for them. Whilst the report has not focused on law firms I have had discussions with legal recruiters and many of them confirm that their firms are positively recruiting trainee solicitors from the summer vacation schemes – many reserving 50% of places and some as much as 90%.
