After successful fundraising, the Estates Department were able to present a cheque for the fantastic amount of £1440.61 to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in Surrey. CRY was formed in 1995 and their main aim is to promote and develop heart screening programmes. They fund fast track referral, screening and cardiac pathology services at leading UK hospitals and also fund medical research.

CRY do not receive government funding and are solely reliant on donations. Without public support, they would not be able to provide help, or offer bereavement support to families affected by Young sudden cardiac death (YSCD).

In addition to receiving some generous donations, Estates held their annual raffle for staff and would like to thank their sponsors who include: Guideline Lift Services, Johnson Controls, Broadstock Office Furniture Ltd, BP Drains and the Gulbenkian Theatre.
