A pdf version of the programme is now available for the oral and the poster sessions. Oral sessions will be held in Grimond Lecture Theatre 2, poster sessions in Grimond Foyer (where you can also register and pick up your conference bag with the printed programme).
Oral and poster presentations by first-time presenters at BAAP will be considered for the two prizes that are traditionally awarded at BAAP meetings:
- The Eugénie Henderson Prize. Participants presenting at the BAAP Colloquium for the first time are eligible for the Eugénie Henderson prizes (one for best poster and one for best oral presentation). The award of these is decided by majority vote of members.
- The Peter Ladefoged Prize. The prize for the presentation which best captures the spirit of the phonetic legacy of the late Peter Ladefoged is awarded by majority vote of members.
For the 2018 meeting, an additional prize for the most promising interdisciplinary student work has been sponsored by the Kent Centre for Language and Linguistics.
