Postgraduate Research Festival – 18th June 2013
The third annual Postgraduate Research Festival took place on 18th June 2013 and was a great opportunity for all Postgraduate students at Kent, both Taught & Research, to showcase their research work to fellow students and academics and to listen to some interesting and stimulating talks.
Many thanks to all those who displayed and presented their posters – the posters were all of a very high standard and the Q&A sessions provoked some stimulating discussions.
Poster Award Winners:
- Paula Lock from SECL for her poster ” Roman Taverns and Inns”
- Manual Jorge Marques for his poster “Non-invasive imaging of human tissue with Optical Coherence Tomagraphy”
- Sarah Tetley from KBS for her poster “Gurnard and Chips Anyone … Anyone?!”
ESRC SEDTC Conference – 20 June 2013
The South East Doctoral Training Centre (SEDTC) 2nd annual conference will take place at the University of Kent. This event is open to all Social Science PhD students, at Kent, Surrey, Royal Holloway and Reading.
