Musical Theatre Society’s ‘Follow the Leader’ is an inspiring, ingenious and intoxicating piece looking at the deep human desire to follow the herd or break tradition and risk becoming an outcast.

Join us as we delve into the depths of the human psyche, with this mesmerising musical theatre showcase featuring numbers from well-known musicals like ‘Wicked’, ‘Rent’ and ‘HAMILTON’ (as well as many many more) and appearances from the MTS Showchoir and the cast of Urinetown.

CUSHION THEATRE FORUM: Meet School of Arts Theatre Companies!

This is an opportunity to meet Theatre Companies/Artists that have emerged from our department and are out there in the big wide world making some wonderful work. You will have the chance to view a bit of the work and then pick their brains about how, why, what. Please bring a cushion with you and a bottle of water. Open to all Drama Students.

A Warm Welcome

We hope you all had a brilliant summer and are ready for a new and exciting year.

We have been busy updating your facilities over the summer…

  • The Digital Suite in Jarman 4 has now been extended and includes 5 new work stations and 2 new projectors as well as new digital Canon cameras
  • The Aphra has been updated with a new sound system and new curtains
  • New curtains have also been installed in the Lumley as well as more LED lights
