Former PhD Student

Dr Ozkan’s research focuses on the association between intergroup contact and solidarity-based collective action intentions (joining a march, signing a petition etc.). More specifically, during his PhD, he investigated whether intergroup contact motivates advantaged group members to join solidarity protests for disadvantaged groups, such as refugees.
