Mia is a Psychology graduate from the University of Kent who completed a placement year as a research assistant, studying human-animal relations with Dr. Kristof Dhont. Her work focused on exploring plant-based messaging and the political influences of animal product consumption. During her placement and in her final year as an undergraduate, Mia developed and assisted with research examining whether plant-based messaging positively affects taste perceptions of plant-based meat alternatives. Her current research focuses on adapting and strengthening behavioural interventions that target the reduction of animal-product consumption.
