Sylwia’s Xercise Factor diary – week three

The participants are now in their third week of the Xercise Factor competition. They will be under increased pressure as the instructors are now stepping back and letting them continue the process solo. No-one is safe from elimination at this point and anyone can be sent packing if their performance slips!

Let’s see how Sylwia is getting on this week!

“Such a good week for a variety of training! Started off with boxercise, circuits & my plan before I headed off to Wales early for reading week. I went to a local bodybuilding gym; I was the only girl there and the only person who was not on steroids – definitely fitted in well! Smashed my squat technique and weight (even done better than my brother who only managed 60KG) who says girls can’t squat ey?! 

On Saturday, I climbed Pen-y-Fan in the snow, which was a challenge in trainers because I kept sliding everywhere; wish I brought a sledge with me. . But still climbing up a mountain and sliding down didn’t work me as hard as Mike does, I could actually walk without shakes! I’m loving this process so far, such a good lifestyle change: motivating others as well as myself – even got my dad off from the couch, that’s an achievement in itself!”
