LSEG for staff

For most research purposes, academic staff and researchers should use a standard LSEG Workspace Student Licence.

In exceptional circumstances, academic staff and researchers may require a LSEG Workspace Professor Licence:

• If the researcher intends to publish academic work using LSEG Workspace data
• If the researcher needs to download more than 10 million Datastream data points per month
• All research conducted using LSEG Workspace should be for academic and on-commercial purposes only

University of Kent has 1 x LSEG Workspace Professor Licences which is available to academic staff and researchers on request.

If you wish to apply for a LSEG Professor Licence, please contact academiclibrary@kent.ac.uk  including your name, role or job title, reason for your request, and your preferred start date and duration of access. Please be aware that we have limited Professor Licences and need to ensure that they are shared equitably between all academic staff and researchers who request access.
