The library is actively working with the division of Natural Sciences to diversify reading lists and acquire diverse resources to support teaching, learning, and research. We have a resource list relating to Diversity & Inclusion within STEM  that you can browse and make recommendations to.

In forensic science, Dr Robert Green OBE, has had two modules awarded for his work in creating more inclusive and accessible learning resources for students.

As part of this work, the library supported him in creating a padlet of resources for diverse voices and topics within the field. This has focused on a number of key areas; practice across diverse geographical areas, women’s voice in the discipline, race & DNA phenotyping and sharing resources & networks of support for employability in the sector.

The padlet is a useful way to gather articles, books, podcasts, websites and other information. It is also set up as a collobarative tools so that it can be crowdsourced with students.
