Who can attend?
This trip is open to undergraduates entering their second year of degree this September (2022), who are considering a placement year, to undertake in between their second and final year of study.
You need to be on track for a 2:1 or equivalent.
You do not need to be registered to do a placement year at present, however, your course must provide an option to transfer to a placement year. If you are unsure if this is an option, please consult with the Employability and Placements team within your Division.
Agenda for the day
Friday 23rd September 2022
- 10:00 – Coach departure from Keynes Bus Stop, Canterbury campus
- 13:00 – 13:15 – Arrival
- 13:15 – 14:00 – Program & Recruitment Process Overview (Junior Talent)
- 14:00 – 15:00 – IP Panel (Current IPs)
- 15:00 – 16:00 – Networking (Current IPs, GTPs and Line Managers)
- 16:15 – Coach depart to Canterbury campus
There will be tea, coffee, water on arrival and canapés and drinks for the networking.
Please bring your own lunch to have on the coach.
If this trip clashes with any lectures / seminars, please contact your Division in advance, to discuss the trip with them and to see if an authorised absence is possible.
