This paid, two-week placement based near South Wimbledon, London will give you the practical industry experience and contacts to kick start your journey.
From assisting on set to creating marketing designs, you’ll be busy getting stuck into a mix of creative tasks to help your CV and Portfolio shine. You’ll spend time getting to know a range of professional Creatives, from Videographers to Copywriters, plus get valuable interview practice and feedback. So you’re set up to take that first step in your Creative career. Abel & Cole have an Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity Committee. Your two-week placement will be led by our Head of Brand & Creative (ED&I Committee’s Content Champion) and by our Project & Studio Manager (ED&I Committee’s Race & Ethnicity Champion).
We are keen to encourage applications from people from all backgrounds. This opportunity is only available to those aged over 18. You also must be available to come to our office near South Wimbledon each day Monday 21st August – Friday 25th August and Monday 28th August – Friday 1st September or your application will not be considered.
Your hours will be 9-17:30 with lunch provided by our amazing on-site chef Monday-Thursday and then by the Studio team on Friday.
What you’ll be getting up to:
- Assisting on set in our studio during photoshoots and videoshoots
- Assisting with the smooth running of our studio Attending daily creative stand ups
- Attending creative briefings
- Learning about our brand guidelines
- Help create designs such as social media and poster
- Each day will start with a ‘get to know’ session with different members of the team from Copywriters to Designers so you can learn about different creative pathways and ask plenty of questions
- Spend time researching competitor’s creative to present to the Brand & Creative Team at the end of your placement
- Spend time creating a video of your placement which will be posted to our company LinkedIn as well as presented to the Brand & Creative Team at the end of your placement Interview practice and feedback session

Ambition to pursue a career in the creative industry – Lots of creative energy and keen to get stuck in – Examples of your creative work that demonstrate your passion and drive.
