Assistant Producer, The National Theatre

The National Theatre are recruiting for a Assistant Producer to join the Digital Media Department.
This is a role on a fixed term, 12 month contract.

The Programming Team in the Digital Media Department finalise programming for filming and distribution of productions across cinema, streaming and television. They are the first point of contact and manage relationships with Producers, Artists and all Rightsholders; securing rights and ensuring payment of fees and royalties.

The Assistant Producer will support the Programming Team across all areas of the National Theatre’s cinema and digital distribution, including National Theatre Live, National Theatre at Home, National Theatre Collection and other digital distribution opportunities.

The successful candidate will have the following:
-Experience of producing theatre, film, or television, ideally in a producing role.
-Experience in contract negotiation.
-Understanding of complexity, and demonstrable experience of problem solving.
-Excellent administration skills and strong attention to detail, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook in particular).
-A team player, supportive of colleagues and their roles across the department.
