The Commonwealth War Graves Commission are looking for some exceptional individuals to join as Guides (formerly Interns) in 2023.They are currently recruiting from across the UK for this unique opportunity. The guides spend up to three months living and working in either France or Belgium at some of the CWGC’s most iconic and visited sites. The programme is fully funded and the guides are paid.
These roles would best suit those who are finishing full-time education (at A level or equivalent, or university or equivalent) but all applications are welcomed.

COMMONWEALTH WAR GRAVES GUIDE
Location: France (Arras) / Belgium (Ieper)
Contract type: Temporary (up to 3 Months)
About the role: CWGC Guides welcome visitors to Tyne Cot Cemetery and Memorial in Belgium and the Thiepval Memorial in France, as well as several other locations, sharing the story of our organisation and the men and women we commemorate. They assist our visitors by providing information, guided tours and by undertaking research. More information about our guides program can be found here.
You must hold a valid passport for this role and be available to work in Europe from either May to August or August to November.
