Part II Architectural Assistant Role

NBBJ are looking for Part II Architectural Assistants / Designers with a strong design focus, communication skills and graphic abilities to join our team in London. The right candidate is an independent thinker who thrives on group collaboration in a fast-paced environment. This person must be motivated, have a strong design sense, confident voicing their opinion within a team, and possess a positive attitude and excitement towards their work.

Role Expectations:

• Participate in a highly-collaborative and inclusive design process

• Develop design concepts, presentations and visualizations

• Contribute to the design and documentation of projects of varied size and complexity with exposure across all phases and stages of projects.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

• Architectural degree, Part II or equivalent

• 1+ years’ professional experience

• Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills

• Strong analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to participate in multiple projects with competing deadlines

• Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment

• Efficient, detail orientated, thorough, high standards for quality design and documents

• Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling skills (Revit / Rhino) essential

• Advanced 3D modelling (Grasshopper / Dynamo, etc.) desirable

• Working knowledge of graphic / layout software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
