Tuesday February 15th

CV’s, cover letters and application forms – 13:00 – 14:00

Join this information session to find out the key things you need to include in your CV, application forms and cover letters. We will cover the do’s and don’ts and ways to tailor your documents to make you stand out.

Career management for mature students and career changers – 15:00 – 16:00

This session will explore how, as a mature student, you can use your experiences to help you to decide on the right career area for you and to convince employers that you are the best candidate for a role.

Wednesday February 16th

Study Plus: First Aid with the Red Cross – 11:30 – 13:30

This 2 hour event will cover such things as CPR, recovery position, choking. It will also cover how to spot two or three medical conditions such as stroke, seizure and heart attack.

How to answer interview questions – the normal, the tricky and the downright strange! – 13:00 – 14:00

This interactive workshop will discuss how to tackle basic interview questions, such as motivational questions, the trickier ones, including competency based and the unusual questions!
