Join broadcaster Katie Thistleton and the Digital Cities team for a day of masterclasses and skills sessions aimed at super charging your short-form knowledge. Learn how to shoot and pitch like a pro, before hearing about the latest TV jobs and opportunities for 2022 as well as being inspired by the latest innovations in virtual production.

Wednesday 19 January

Join broadcaster Caoimhe Ní Chathail and the Digital Cities team for a day focusing on successful social campaigns. They’ll be sharing the secrets behind the latest BBC campaigns across social, including TikTok and how this leads to the best brand awareness and audience engagement. BBC Three hit RuPaul’s Drag Race is the subject of two sessions, the first looking at the creative strategies behind the success and the second focusing on its cultural impact. Rounding off the day join ScreenSkills for their session on the importance of building a brand and an inspirational discussion on XR, Real-Time and Industry 4.0 from Birmingham’s BCU STEAMhouse.
