The editorial board of Skepsi – the online research journal in Humanities and Social Sciences based in the School of European Culture and Languages – is pleased to announce an essay competition and would like to invite you to submit your best works (academic essays, MA dissertations, etc.).
We are looking for innovative and creative works, and are interested in any topics.
The two winning essays will be published in the next issue of the journal in Winter 2011.
Submission information:
– The competition is open to current and former MA and PhD students in Humanities and Social Sciences at Kent.
– The academic essays submitted must have been awarded a first class mark.
– The submission deadline is Monday 28 November 2011.
Contributions should be sent via e-mail, as Microsoft Word attached documents, to skepsi@kent.ac.uk.
The contribution should comprise an article of 3000/5000 words, written in academic English, an abstract proposal of approximately 300 words with a short list of keywords and a CV giving details of your name, academic institution (if any), stage of study and email address.
