Wellbeing Day – 6th December 2013

If you are interested in learning more about Wellbeing, come along to the University’s Wellbeing Day on Friday 6th December 2013.

There are a number of activities being organised with the Kent Union, but two highlights will be a Foraging Workshop with Jo Barker, from 10:00-12:00, in Grimond Seminar Room 6. You will discover how to forage for food on the Canterbury campus, and take part in an inspiring and fun event.

In the afternoon Clare Summerskill’s play “Hearing Voices” will be screened in Keynes Lecture Theatre 3, from 14:30-16:45. The play is based on interviews with patients that Clare met on a secure Psychiatric ward, and includes excerpts where professionals discuss differing ways of caring for people in mental distress. There will be time at the end of the screening for a Q&A session.

Further details can be found on our Wellbeing Day flyer.
