I am delighted to announce that Special Collections now has two new members of staff until the end of July. Chris Ward and Hazel Basford will both be working part time in the Collections, assisting us in ongoing work.

Chris has worked in Special Collections previously on a number of occasions, the latest working on the Hewlett Johnson Collection after which she has become an expert on the Red Dean’s life and his archive.  Hazel works part time as the Archivist at Quex Park and has also worked on the Templeman Helpdesk for several years. Both Hazel and Chris will spend some time supervising the reading room, while their main work will be updating the Special Collections inventory and checking collections which we already have in stock.

We would like to welcome Chris and Hazel to the team and hope that they enjoy their time working with us.
